Beatie Wolfe
I'm fascinated by the poetry of human relationships which makes my songwriting passionate, emotional and very intimate. I really have to feel and believe in what I'm writing and singing about. I choose songs rather than poems or prose because of the immediate and direct effect sound has on the listener.
I believe music has a special power to connect with people at the deepest level and transport the words to a place they might otherwise not reach. Like the poet William Blake used illustrations to empower his words, I use my voice and guitar to enhance the meaning of mine. ~ Beatie Wolfe
✪ GQ Review
“Irecently attended the best concert I have been to all year. Was it at the O2 you ask? Nope. The Royal Albert Hall? Certainly not. It was on Pancras Road in one of London's most ancient buildings. St Pancras Old Church proved a fitting setting to showcase the hotly-tipped young English singer-songwriter Beatie Wolfe. With masses of unbridled energy, Wolfe's beautiful melodies envelop the listener in wild stories of love and lust, as she delicately describes the poetry and tragedy of relationships…It won't be long before she's selling out the Albert Hall.” » click here to read full article
